Day 1 - Hanoi to Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay
Get ready by 7:30 AM and meet our tour guide at Hanoi Central Backpackers Hostel / Buffalo Hostel for departure.
As you travel by bus and boat to the Cruise, you’ll already be surrounded by the stunning scenery of Cat Ba National Park.
Once you arrive on the Cruise, lunch will be served, and shortly after you can check into your cabin.
We’ll start with a range of activities as we cruise through the breathtaking landscapes of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay, taking in the incredible views.
As we continue deeper into the bay, we’ll bring you to a peaceful, quiet spot. Here, we’ll hop off the main cruise and take a smaller boat to the beach, where you can jump off the boat, go swimming, play volleyball, or simply relax on the sand with an ice-cold beer.
After some time at the beach, we’ll head back to the Cruise, where you’ll have time to unwind and enjoy the jacuzzi on board.
Later, we’ll cruise to another side of the bay before stopping at a beautiful spot “in the middle of nowhere,” perfect for a sunset party. Enjoy our happy hour deals, soak up the vibes, and grab some amazing photos before spending the night onboard.
7:00 – 7:30 PM — Dinner time! A delicious BBQ dinner will be served, and the party kicks off right after!

Day 2 - Lan Ha Bay - Viet Hai village - Catba National Park
Wake up to a new day on the Cruise, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the bay. Breakfast is served from 7:30–8:30 AM.
After breakfast, you’ll head out on a day excursion by boat into the quiet areas of Cat Ba National Park. Visit a remote local village and experience a different side of life in the region.
You’ll explore the village by bike, riding through scenic landscapes and passing traditional houses along the way.
Next up is a jungle trek with incredible views over the village and the bay (hiking shoes recommended).
After the trek, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then return to the Cruise. Relax in the jacuzzi, grab a drink, and get ready for the sunset party with your new cruise friends.
7:00–7:30 PM — BBQ dinner is served, and the party continues afterward!

Day 3 - Halong Bay to Hanoi
Breakfast is served from 7:30–8:30 AM.
You won’t need to leave the Cruise until after lunch, so you can enjoy a slow morning and relax on board.
From 8:30–9:30 AM, you’ll have the option to go kayaking in one of the quietest and most beautiful areas of the bay (optional).
After kayaking, you’ll have around 30–40 minutes to shower, pack, and check out of your cabin.
10:30 AM — Lunch is served.
After lunch, we’ll begin the journey back to Hanoi, arriving at the hostels at approximately 4:30 PM.
7:30 PM — Meet at the hostel for departure on an overnight sleeper bus to Ha Giang City.
You’ll arrive at around 3:00 AM, where the bus will drop you off at our base in Ha Giang. We’ll arrange a free bed for your first night, so you can rest, shower, and recharge before breakfast and starting the loop the next day.

Day 4 - Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Du Gia
After breakfast, we hit the road on the famous “Road of Happiness”, riding north out of Ha Giang City. We’ll climb the Quan Ba Mountain Pass and enter the breathtaking Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, stopping at Heaven’s Gate and passing the stunning Fairy Hills along the way.
Around the small town of Tam Son, we’ll stop for lunch before continuing deeper into the mountains toward the beautiful village of Du Gia.
In Du Gia, you’ll stay overnight at a local homestay with an ethnic minority family. Dinner and breakfast will be shared with the family for an authentic cultural experience.

Day 5 - Du Gia - Meo Vac - Nho Que river - Ma Pi Leng - Dong Van
We’ll thank our homestay family and continue our journey north, riding through some of the most breathtaking mountain passes in the region. We’ll pass through the town of Meo Vac, where we’ll stop for lunch.
After lunch, you’ll enjoy a boat trip on the Nho Que River, cruising through the dramatic Tu San Canyon and along the base of the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass.
Next, we’ll ride up the majestic Ma Pi Leng Mountain Pass before arriving in Dong Van, one of the northernmost towns in Vietnam.
In Dong Van, you’ll check into a hotel or homestay (as agreed in your tour).

Day 6 - Dong Van - Sa Phin - Yen Minh - Tam Son - Ha Giang City
After breakfast, we begin our journey south. Our first stop is Sa Phin, home to the 100-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc, known as the King of the H’mong people.
We then continue through the stunning Stone Plateau and arrive in Yen Minh for lunch. Afterward, we ride over a scenic mountain pass surrounded by pine forests and beautiful rice terraces, before descending into the Song La River valley.
From there, we head back toward Tam Son, cross the Quan Ba Mountain Pass, and return to Ha Giang City.
5:00 PM — Depart by bus back to Hanoi.
A free bed at the hostel is included, and breakfast will be available the next morning before 9:30 AM.
